🐿️ About Squirrel Mode
Hi! I'm Jeannie, and I made these printables because my brain refuses to work like the "normal" planners expect it to.
Based in Salem, Oregon — where I probably forgot to take my vitamins this morning.
Why Squirrel Mode Exists
I've bought approximately 47 planners in my life. Pretty ones, minimalist ones, the $60 "life-changing" ones. They all had one thing in common: they weren't designed for my brain.
They assumed I'd wake up at 5am. That I'd fill in every box. That "just stick with it" was actionable advice. That missing a day wasn't soul-crushing. They were wrong on all counts.
Squirrel Mode is what happens when someone with ADHD designs the tools they actually need. Built-in buffer time, guilt-free design, and a sense of humor about the whole thing.
What Makes These Different
ADHD-First Design
Visual cues, flexible structure, and realistic expectations baked into every page.
Zero Guilt
Missed a day? A week? A month? The printable doesn't guilt you. Just start again.
Buffer Time Built In
Because you WILL get distracted, and that's okay. The time blocks account for it.
Actually Fun
If it's boring, you won't use it. These are designed to make you smile while you plan.
The Name
You know the dog from "Up"? Mid-sentence, spots a squirrel, completely loses the plot? That's us. But instead of fighting it, we lean into it.
"Squirrel Mode" isn't about being distracted — it's about acknowledging how our brains work and building systems that work WITH the squirrel, not against it.
Made in Salem, Oregon 🌲
Every printable is designed by Jeannie R McCauley, a real person with real ADHD, real coffee addiction, and a real talent for starting projects. (Finishing them is... a work in progress.)
Thanks for being here. Now go drink some water.
